About Chase
I am a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a bachelors degree in English with a focus in Creative Writing. I am a 9-time Dean’s List student, member of The National Society of Leadership, and an inducted member of the honor fraternities Pi Epsilon Pi and Phi Beta Kappa. I also have experience dealing with kids and teens through a combination of my summer job at the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo and my volunteer work at Erin’s House for Grieving Children. I am a huge nerd and love talking about pop culture, especially books and movies.

Because of my work towards a Creative Writing Degree, my expertise lies in narratives but I can help with numerous facets of English including understanding readings and writing critical essays. I’m a people person and my goal is to help you! A typical lesson plan would be going over what you need help with and my advice in how to aid you best. I’ll do my best to lead you towards the answer without giving it to you and think critically yourself as my hope is that one day you don’t need a tutor. Until then I’ll do my best to help you. Predominantly I would prefer to tutor high school and middle school students who are taking their required English courses, but I will also help out if you need aid in a college course or if you want to learn about writing stories in general.
