About Alana
I have successfully mentored 30 adult learners returning to science alongside A-level students and homeschoolers. My work centers on explaining cell biology, mitosis, meiosis, and complex metabolic enzymes. I hold an MD from Harvard Medical School and leverage that training to simplify physiology and evolution.
Over the last 3 years, I have refined my ability to teach the scientific method and molecular biology. My approach prioritizes building fluency in DNA structure and ecology through a high-standards lens.
