About the lesson

I am a passionate mathematics tutor with over 10 years of experience and an MSc in Mathematical Modelling. My love for mathematics extends beyond numbers; I am fascinated by its applications in the social sciences. I specialise in network theory and agent-based modelling, exploring how mathematical structures reveal patterns in society. I enjoy examining social networks, the spread of information or disease, and the emergence of collective behaviour through quantitative tools. In my lessons, I guide students to see mathematics as a lens to understand human systems. We delve into models that capture interactions between individuals, communities, and organisations. I encourage critical thinking and creativity, helping students design and interpret models with real-world relevance. Lessons are interactive, practical, and tailored to each learner’s curiosity and goals. I aim to make abstract concepts tangible, showing how mathematics predicts, explains, and influences social phenomena.
