I have a bachelors degree in Psychology and Sociology. For the past two years I have worked as an English and social studies teacher. My English classes are very often literature and essay based. My approach to tutoring is rooted in creating an engaging and supportive learning environment that caters to the unique needs of each student. I focus on interactive and participatory learning styles. My lessons might include discussions, debates and projects to encourage critical thinking and active engagement. I also integrate multimedia resources, such as videos and interactive online tools, to enhance the learning experience and cater to different learning styles. I can teach all high school levels. Each lesson typically lasts between 45 minutes to an hour. This duration allows for a thorough exploration of the topic, interactive activities, and time for questions and feedback.
