About Sarah

My name is Sarah and I graduated in 2022 as Dux of Gippsland Grammar with an ATAR of 98.55 and a raw 50 in Biology (2021). I’m currently offering tutoring for Biology 1/2 and 3/4 for small group or private sessions, both online or in person in Clayton. I am currently in my third year of medicine at Monash University and have had over 2 years and 400+ hours of experience tutoring biology, with past students scoring in the top 1-2% of the state with 45+ study scores. I also work closely alongside my sister Hannah Husodo, who also received a raw 50 in biology, to make comprehensive notes, worksheets and original practice SACs for my students.

About the lesson

**FREE TRIAL AVAILABLE** My tutoring style is quite flexible and I tailor each of my classes to each student’s learning preferences, abilities and goals. I understand that biology is a content-heavy subject that can seem frustratingly subjective at times! However, after reflecting on aspects that lead to my sister and my success, I have learned tips and tricks to help my students maximize their potential. For example, developing a broader understanding of biological concepts rather than memorizing each concept individually, will enable students to retain knowledge much more easily. As your biology tutor, I aim to help you navigate through the dense course, focusing on high-yield content, whilst also incorporating exam-style questions from day 1. I also provide 24/7 support for biology, study advice and general well-being as well as access to a pool of resources, including worksheets, practice exams, original practice SACs and comprehensive notes developed by my sister and me.
