About Audrey
I have over 6 years of experience teaching violin and hold a Doctor of Musical Arts in Violin Performance. I believe music can be a powerful way to express emotions, reduce stress, and build inner confidence. My lessons are welcoming, supportive, and focused on personal growth.
I use improvisation, reflective journaling, and soundscape creation to help students connect with music in a meaningful way. These activities encourage creativity while helping students understand their emotions through sound. One adult learner told me that playing simple improvised melodies after a busy workday became their favorite way to relax.
I have worked with neurodiverse learners, trauma survivors, and adults looking for a peaceful and encouraging learning experience. Every lesson is adjusted to match individual comfort levels and personal goals. I believe every student deserves a safe space where music can become part of healing and self-discovery.
For me, the violin is more than an instrument because it gives people a voice when words are not enough. I enjoy helping students discover confidence, emotional balance, and creativity through music. I would be happy to help you use the violin as a safe and powerful path to self-expression, emotional connection, and well-being.

My violin lessons focus on helping students become confident and expressive performers. I teach performance anxiety management through simple techniques that reduce stress before every performance. We also practice stage presence, memorization techniques, recital preparation, and competition readiness.
I include bow control, tone production, musical phrasing, rhythm, intonation, and expressive dynamics in every lesson. Each class is designed to build confidence while strengthening technical skills. I once worked with a student who was nervous before every recital, and regular mock performances helped them play with much more confidence.
I enjoy supporting learners with strong classical singing backgrounds as well as those who perform jazz vocals. I help them stay calm, communicate emotion, and enjoy performing in front of an audience. This allows them to focus on the music instead of their nerves.
Every lesson includes practical performance exercises and positive feedback. Small improvements create lasting confidence over time. Together, we will make your performance unforgettable.
