About Kathryn
I am a working university tutor in English with eight years of experience. My degree is in English and linguistics. I have enjoyed teaching classes and also working one on one with students at the Maori and Pacific Island centres.

I like to improve a learner's confidence though a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I usually find it helpful to break complex tasks into specific steps that are easy to follow independently. I'm happy to tailor lessons to specific assessments that a student is working towards, or to cover broader topics. Confidence is key, and I get great enjoyment from watching students improve!
