About George
I am a student at the University of Cambridge (King's College), who is on track to achieve a high 2:1 in Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic (a combination of history, language, literature and archaeology). I am an academic representative for my department, a member of the Council for British Archaeology's Youth Advisory Board, have experience working in a museum and a number of further super- and extra-curricular activities alongside my degree. My experience teaching music in both a one-on-one setting and to small groups in secondary schools has allowed me to develop a teaching style in which lots of content can be covered effectively and in a fun way, ensuring that each student understands and can move at their own pace. I applied to five universities, receiving offers from all five, and have since guided over 15 students through their applications to Cambridge, Oxford and other Russell Group universities, with success in all three. I am also, therefore, well situated to help with UCAS applications.

Lessons will work through the syllabus content for the exam board that writes your exams. We will work on learning the content, revision techniques and on exam technique, looking at the different styles of questions. All of my tuition will be tailored to your specific needs so that each and every session will provide useful and measurable progress towards your exam success. I would be very happy to hear from you with any specific requests for lesson style or the content taught within them and will do my best to accommodate any needs that you may have. Lessons will be provided online and can be offered at any frequency, though I would recommend a minimum of one session every couple weeks.
