I'm an empathetic listener and I strive to tailor each individual lesson to the student's goals. I always spend time at the start of a tutoring relationship establishing a rapport and getting to know exactly what a student struggles with - but also what motivates them. I always aim to make my lessons engaging and fun; in my experience, this is the best way to learn. My experience in helping students improve their essay writing skills through constructive feedback could be invaluable in helping you prepare. This has been refined over a number of years in one-to-one tutoring, but also in teaching Undergraduate and Masters students across three different politics courses at the LSE.
