About Paris

I recently graduated from The University of Canterbury with a Bachelor of Science Majoring in Mathematics and Statistics and Minoring in French. I have achieved good grades throughout my degree. I completed NCEA with an excellence endorsement including excellence in calculus across all three levels, giving me valuable experience with the New Zealand school system. I enjoy helping others and strive to support students in achieving their academic goals. I realise that mathematics is a challenging subject that many people struggle with, so I hope to make it more approachable and enjoyable, enhancing both confidence and understanding. I have experience working as an assistant English teacher in France. This means I am available as both a mathematics and statistics tutor but also as an English tutor for those who are not fluent or natural speakers.

About the lesson

I adapt my lessons to each student's needs, either by creating a structured plan or addressing specific questions they bring. Hour-long lessons work best, however, closer to exams I am happy to extend my time. I have experience tutoring NCEA students therefore, I am well-equipped to tutor school-age students. Whether they aim to pass or strive for excellence I can provide a tailored tutoring experience to support and help them succeed.
