Dr. Gilman is the coolest teacher you’ll ever have. He’s really relatable and friendly so you’ll have fun when you learn too! But it’s not just fun, he has a doctorate in music (I think), so he’s very qualified and experienced.

Dr. Gilman was my orchestra director for two years and he was always ready to help any student who needed it. He made sure that those who were really passionate about music could freely practice and ask for advice for as much as they wanted. He was also always energetic and ready for class. I don’t think there’s a single student in our orchestra who could have asked for a better director. He is very knowledgeable about music and has great qualifications! Learning from Dr. Gilman was always fun and we always left the room with a lot more knowledge and skill than we had going in.

He’s a really chill guy who manages to slip teaching in whilst having a good time. He makes learning easy and fun.
