Ivanka is a fantastic teacher and violinist, I can't recommend her enough. I personally had started learning my instrument with her at around the ages of 3 or 4, and her husband Craig is the luthier responsible much later for the creation of my current full size violin! She possesses an attention to detail that many teachers today lack, and her straightforward and honest feedback prepared me at a very early stage of my career to be a dynamic and intentional musician. She is also incredibly kind and thoughtful, and puts in an incredible level of effort behind the scenes to make sure her students are looked after and prepared for whatever they may be doing next! She has achieved two music related masters degrees and that proficiency is very apparent when studying with her, as her suggestions are always constructive and supportive. I highly recommend considering her no matter your age or skill level, she will be able to tune in to your speed and to help you excel!

Ivanka is my son’s violin teacher, and we have had a wonderful experience learning from her. She is patient, encouraging, and very attentive to my son’s individual needs.
