About Julie
Hello! My name is Julie and I would like to offer you my services as a skilled and experienced violin teacher. I hold both Bachelor and Master of Music Degrees from Eastern Florida State College.
My goal as a teacher is to nurture a love of music in each one of my students while building strong foundations in technique, reading, music theory and musical expression. I believe in positive reinforcement as a way to encourage and motivate, and I work to create an environment where students feel valued and supported. My students believe in themselves and work hard to achieve their goals.
I quickly assess and adjust to each student's pace, interests, and goals. In particular, I follow the musical interests of my students and draw from a wide variety of musical resources to make sure that they remain engaged and motivated by music that inspires them.
I travel to the student's home.
I have been successfully teaching violin for close to ten years and I am excited to begin this musical journey with you!

Master of Music in Violin Performance - Eastern Florida State College
Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance - Eastern Florida State College
9 years of teaching experience - (Private lessons and Schools)
