About

Welcome to Valentine Violin Utah! My name is Melodee Valentine and I teach private violin lessons in the Kaysville/Fruit Heights area. I have both my bachelors and masters degrees in music from the University of Utah where I studied violin performance and pedagogy. I teach from a variety of materials based around the Suzuki Violin School for repertoire and a collection of books for scales, theory, and technical etudes. My main areas of focus are helping students learn to read music early, build healthy practice habits, and conquering performance anxiety and perfectionism through learning and practicing a growth mindset!

About the lesson

Violin lessons offered by are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Kaysville. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.
