About Patrick
I am a lifelong professional musician and educator with over 20 years of classical violin, traditional fiddle, and contemporary guitar experience. I use my unique expertise with multiple styles to help students develop as well-rounded musicians with a lifelong love for music, wherever it may take them. I specialize in fingerstyle guitar, and use a mix of the Suzuki method and a personally-developed curriculum for violin students.
I studied at Berklee College of Music and Virginia Commonwealth University, and have been teaching privately for over six years. I currently work as the Music Director at the Charlottesville Waldorf School, and am now enrolling students in my private studio.
