About Dylan
Hi! I’m a teacher and tutor with six years of teaching experience, a strong academic background, and a passion for helping students succeed. I graduated as my high school valedictorian and later earned my college degree with honors and a perfect GPA.
I currently work as a band director, so teaching and working with students is something I do every day. I specialize in high school math, chemistry, music, music theory, and ACT test prep. Having taken the ACT multiple times myself to achieve a composite score of 32, I understand both the content and the strategies that help students improve their performance and confidence.
Students and families often describe me as patient, friendly, and encouraging. I work hard to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence. My experience as an educator has taught me how to adapt to different learning styles and explain difficult concepts in a clear, approachable way.
My goal is not only to help students improve academically, but also to help them feel more confident and successful in the learning process.
