About John
I have been a USPTA certified pro 40 years, I played college tennis at Ole Miss, and the ITA Pro circuit. I coached Devon Britton who won the NCAA national championship his freshman year.
I teach common sense Tennis
Common Sense isn't common
at all. It only becomes
common once you've been
told or shown. That's when
you have that "DUH" moment
and you walk away smiling or
shaking your head. Tennis can
be very complicated, but it
doesn't have to be. As your
coach, my goal is to break it
down so you can become your
own coach while out on the
court. You will learn "what" to
do and "how" to do it and
"when" to do it and "why" you
do it. When you're able to do
these things, even losing
becomes fun.
I started teaching after several injuries on the ITA tennis tour.
