About Zainah
I am a senior at Lexington High School and have been tutoring at Kumon for 2 years now. I also provide private math lessons to my high school peers and am currently taking AP Calculus BC. I have tutored in elementary to high school Math and Reading, as well as Chemistry. At Kumon, I specialize in Early Learners, teaching them how to read, write, and do beginner level math, but I love teaching older students as well! Due to COVID, I will only be tutoring online.

When students are bored, they do not learn. Learning is not just about absorbing the facts, it is about enjoying the concept of broadening your knowledge and understanding the reasons behind why it is important to know these skills. I make sure my students feel as though they have a companion who will help them when they are struggling while ensuring that they fully understand the concepts they are learning. I teach with enthusiasm for the subject and it always ends up rubbing off on my students in the end.
