About Ryan
Hi! My name is Ryan and I am currently a junior at Baylor University. I excelled in high school, graduated highly ranked in my class, and with a top 1% SAT score nationwide. I love helping people and have had several incredible tutors throughout my career as a student and understand the value they can bring to the table. Throughout my life, mathematics has unequivocally been my strongest subject in school. I have a highly analytical mind and I am also a strong communicator. For this reason, I truly believe I can help any student fully comprehend subjects in mathematics by tailoring lessons to iron out pain points in the student's understanding of concepts. I've thoroughly enjoyed tutoring in the past and have experience with a variety of age groups high school and below.

Tutoring approach tailored to individual needs. A typical lesson looks something like this:
1) Explanation of concept with example problems.
2) Observe student attempt to apply concept without assistance.
3) Identify individual pain points of the student.
4) Solve/talk through these pain points until the student is capable of applying the concept in a way that fully demonstrates understanding and mastery.
5) Assign homework problems that specifically test the student's previous pain points, if needed.
- I am a highly available tutor. Will make contact info available, if appropriate, for questions or concerns that may arise outside meeting times.
- Typically work with junior high and high school and students, but open to working with students outside this range.
