About Jorge

Experienced tutor currently pursuing a Bachelor of Actuarial Studies and Applied Finance at Macquarie University on a Deans Scholarship. I graduated with an ATAR of 98.25, receiving Band 6's in all subjects with my strongest achievement being a 98/100 in Maths Advanced.

Year 12 comes with its challenges — it's normal. My role is to share all my knowledge and resources with you, to motivate you, and to ensure you have the most successful year possible.
While I was a dedicated student, I also understood the importance of maintaining a balanced lifestyle during Year 12. I consistently sought out the most efficient studying techniques to ensure success while still making time for sports and friends. With my personal experience with various tutors who didn’t meet my needs, I’ve learned the importance of approaching each student with a personalised approach meaning that each lesson will be accommodated to your specific needs.

About the lesson

My lesson approach is tailored to a High School students needs. I have the resources, expertise and exam knowledge necessary to ensure you succeed in your HSC or even lower year subjects. Typical lessons can encompass helping with topics that you are struggling with at school, getting you ahead of the game so when you learn it at school it comes much easier, or preparing you for exams to ensure every question and problem has been addressed before. I also have a wide array of past papers available to offer you, allowing you to expose yourself to a wide variety of different questions and problems.
