About Emma
I am a student from the University of Adelaide, who has recently graduated from a Physics degree majoring in Astrophysics, and is commencing study in Advanced Computer Science. I have been tutoring for 2+ years now from High School to University level and thoroughly enjoy it. I am very passionate about teaching maths and physics, and deeply enjoy explaining new concepts to students in a way that enables the understanding of previously misunderstood concepts.

• My teaching approach is to break up a problem into parts, explaining each part in a manner which better instills an overall picture of the idea and approach to a solution. • I aim to offer teaching styles conforming to either visual or auditory learners, and adapt my lessons to support each particular student's learning style. • When working through problems with students, I tend to avoid giving students the direct answer, and instead aim to equip them with the tools and ideas required in order to achieve that "ah ha" moment on their own. Tutoring sessions are for High School students, university students and those that want to increase their ability in Maths or Science. Sessions are typically an hour but can go for longer if deemed necessary.
