About Annette
Virtual or online speech therapy is perfect for children and adults of all ages who seek treatment from a wide range of communication disorders and conditions.
MySckool provides an individualized and interventionist approach that helps the student achieve better results, faster.
We incorporate formalized speech pathology exercised with customized approaches that augment the standard curriculum with interactive sessions, student engagement, home-based assignments.
In other words – students get the same exceptional training but have more fun and learn better!
By offering these services remotely via telespeech technology – students feel more comfortable, more confident and excel faster than traditional practices such as in classroom or day care settings.
I too am proud to be a certified Speech Language Pathologist. I believe that quality human connection is the most essential part of the human experience and that it is through communication that we are able to make those connections, which we learn and grow from.
I have a passion for helping others communicate more effectively, inspiring minds to see their true potential, as well as educating all my clients on the beauty of life and the importance of a healthy, mind and body.
I believe we are all capable of greatness beyond our belief and I strive to teach all my clients to be confident in who they are and in their many strengths.
My name is Annette Waters and I have been a practicing, licensed, credentialed, and ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathology since 2008.
I started MySckool and created the fitKID programs because I believe that quality human connection is the most essential part of the human experience and that it is through communication that we are able to make those connections, which we learn and grow from.

I have worked with children ages 2 all the way up to adults age 70.
My speciality is speech and language based therapy for communication disorders and deficits, as well as accient modification, social pragmatic language and more.
I have worked with kids on the autism spectrum, kids with various language disorders, cognitively impaired children and adults, kids and adults who present with mental illness, accent therapy, and much more.

I am so glad to have found Annette for my daughter! My daughter isn't talkative and the Covid 19 SIP has made it worse. She has no social life. She is in her last year in middle school and I wanted to find her a speech professional to develop and improve her social skills to ensure an easy transition to high school. Annette taught my daughter how to organize ideas and thoughts in both speaking and writing and provided resources to practice at home. It's been only 3 months and I'm already seeing a big difference. My daughter can now express herself better in speaking and she can write a lot more efficiently. It took her a lot less time to finish her writing assignments!
