About
I'm a former college Spanish professor with 30+ years of teaching experience and a passion for helping students.
I've taught learners of all ages and backgrounds—from beginners to advanced heritage speakers and professionals seeking to improve their communication skills.
I lived in Spain and have traveled extensively throughout Latin America, which gives me firsthand knowledge of the language. As a published literary translator, I have worked with distinguished Latin American writers and have deep expertise in Spanish language, literature, culture, and translation.
I previously taught high school Spanish and have extensive experience helping students succeed in academic courses, prepare for exams, improve grades, and build conversational fluency.
