About Veronica

I teach a lot of conversational Spanish, idioms and make practice pronunciation besides tutoring grammar.

I enjoy to teach. I have been making a living as a substitute teacher for over a dozen years. I love to make a difference in a person's life and to have shared part of their lives by teaching something that they need and something I enjoy. I enjoy seeing a progress and keeping track of their progress.

I started tutoring an adult. Since I am native, she asked me to tutor her. I helped her and she referred me to another student. This student asked me to find a way where she can practice conversational Spanish, so I ooened the Meetup group for conversation.

I have a MA in Special Education. I am a substitute teacher and many of my assignments are for substituting Spanish classes. I have a community MeetUp group for students who want to practice conversational Spanish where we cover some grammar but focus on pronunciation and conversation in Spanish.

About the lesson

Ask him questions abput the level of Spanish, classes they have taken, speaking comfort, most difficult area for them and what's the easiest, how often they practice and how. And also ask them if they have any questions for me.

I have worked with children as young as 6 yo and with adults.

Make sure the teacher is native and fluent and has a teaching background. Also, make sure you ask questions for clarification.

I always enjoy my Meetup Spanish events.
