About Júlia

Having grown up in Barcelona, Spanish is my native language. I have been teaching foreign languagues for more than ten years. I have worked in 5 different academies, and the Official Language School of Sabadell, Barcelona (the gold standard for language learning in Spain) trusts me to deliver their conversation courses regularly.

These are the aspects my students praise me the most on:

- my ability to provide very personalized learning curriculums to each student, adapting to their needs.

- my extensive experience, which has given me the tools to guide students in their learning process, helping their navigate unfamiliar territory with confidence.

- my ability to make the lessons fun and interesting.

I enjoy the challenge of crafting a solution to my student's needs. I love working with someone who has a goal and putting effort into helping them reach it. I also love teaching languages because they are a tool you can use in all aspects of life.

I am a native Spanish speaker and I have more than ten years' experience teaching foreign languages. I have taught English to Spanish speakers, and Spanish to English speakers as well.

I have worked in 5 different schools, and the Official Language School of Sabadell, Barcelona (the gold standard for language learning in Spain) has trusted me to lead their conversation classes repeatedly.

But most importantly, I have worked with tens of private students with different backgrounds and needs and I know perfectly well how to craft classes that deliver exactly what the student wants!

About the lesson

First of all, I learn about the student's goals and needs: What do they want to work on? What do they need the language /skill for (work, conversation, general interest...)

Then, based off this and the amount of time they are planning on putting into it, I design a personalized first class, and put together the necessary materials.

We do the first session, where we get to know each other and start learning, and I make sure the direction of the class fulfills their needs. After this first class we know each other better and we're ready to dive right in!
