About Jeni
I am a language aficionado and lifelong learner. I have teaching experience living and working in Brazil as well as volunteer teaching nationally. My passion lies in culture and language, but I find you learn best when you're invested in the topics discussed. My approach is solidifying a grammar-base, then using it to explore student interests creatively in the language while learning about the respective country cultures.
I graduated in Spanish and Portuguese studies, and have taken some French classes, too. I've worked professionally in both languages at Walt Disney World and locally at the Center for Creative Leadership. I also spent a year living in Brazil as a Fulbright Scholar teaching in a federal university. Latin America and Brazil have largely consumed my interests and passions, having traveled to all but a few countries in the region.
