About Clark

I am a self-taught non-native Spanish speaker with 4 years of experience, and I am currently employed as a bilingual representative for a travel insurance company!

I am enchanted by the richness of the Spanish language and am so eager to impart my own skills and knowledge to others!

It is truly gratifying to know that I have accomplished a longtime goal of mine, and it is equally wonderful to help someone else do the same! Progress in confidence and in skill, whether for myself or for others, is joyous to me.

A decision that to fulfill my desire to share my skills with others!

I placed in the C1 level on the Common European Framework of Reference Spanish test.

I earned A+ grades in Advanced Spanish courses during undergrad at the University of New Haven, but this was due to my having already learned so much of the language myself before even entering the class.

About the lesson

I would like to evaluate the student's skill level first to establish a good starting point, and then have a conversation about the student's goals and give them an overview of how I've approached learning myself.

I so far have tutored close friends, all of whom have been college-aged young adults.

Look for someone who will be honest with you and routinely test your progress so that the two of you can see where you are, and what you need to work on.

Being given the job I have due to my Spanish skills, and being able to put those skills to use everyday have made me feel very fulfilled.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Anything that concerns them! Comfort is conducive to a productive learning environment.
