About Ana
I love teaching Spanish. I was born, raised and educated primeraly in Mexico. I am a retired professor from a mayor university in central Mexico. I earned a PhD from the University of Arizona (U of A, in Tucson, AZ). Therefore, I know very well what it takes to learn a foreign language.
I have been tutoring Spanish here in Gilbert, AZ for the last SEVEN YEARS. I have been highly evaluated in my teaching for students here (five stars in Thumbtack). I also tutored Americans learning Spanish in Mexico for three years.
I have lots of teaching materials like games, funny quizzes, books, cards, story tales and much more. In order for me to help my students to think in Spanish and be able to master it, I love to immerse my students into the Latin American culture, as well.
I can tutor students at the high school level and beyond. However, those who have kids that are keen to learn Spanish are also very welcome. I also teach different Spanish levels, and for those who wish to practice "conversational" Spanish only, I am able to teach at that level as well.
From practical use of Spanish and tutoring experience.
I have 34 years of teaching experience
