About Sarah
Welcome to Maestra G Tutoring! I’m a bilingual and ESL educator based in Georgetown, TX, with 7 years of teaching experience and 4 years specializing in bilingual education and English language development.
I offer personalized Spanish and ESL tutoring tailored to each student’s goals, learning style, and individual needs. Whether your child is developing English proficiency, strengthening Spanish skills, building academic language, or beginning their language-learning journey, I create engaging lessons that build confidence and lasting skills.
I am currently pursuing a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Bilingual Education at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. My background as a classroom teacher allows me to bring research-based instructional strategies, cultural understanding, and real-world classroom experience into every tutoring session.
My goal is to help students not only improve their language abilities, but also feel confident, connected, and excited about learning. Language opens doors to communication, culture, and opportunity, and I love helping students discover their own success along the way.
