About
My name is Mirthia Feliciano everyone calls me "Lissie". I was born and raised in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and Spanish is my first language. After 36 years in education—14 of them teaching advanced Spanish courses such as AP and AICE at Seabreeze High School—I recently retired.
During my career, my students consistently earned the highest scores in the district on end-of-year exams, and I was honored to be recognized and awarded for our shared success.
Teaching is my passion. While I don’t miss the school system itself, I do want to keep sharing the joy of learning Spanish.
