About Rachel

I am super passionate about the Spanish language and I love sharing my passion with others! I’ve been teaching for about four years, both at college and private clients I can’t wait to continue doing it. My bachelor's degree is in Spanish Studies and I have a certification of oral proficiency.

I truly enjoy passing my love of the language onto other people. I get a rewarding feeling knowing that I’ve helped expand someone else’s knowledge in the language, and I just love watching people grow into advanced speakers and enjoy learning.

I started off by just volunteering at my school helping with Spanish, then I eventually just fell in love with teaching.

I took spanish all four years in high school, it’s also one of my majors in college. I studied the language for a month in Ecuador last summer and I’ll be spending a semester in Spain studying as well.

About the lesson

I first assess the student and his/her abilities and I only go up from there. I make a mixture of review and new material each lesson and I carefully explain every new topic.

I’ve worked with young college students and children, as well as middle-aged adults and I accommodate to everyone’s needs no matter what the age is.
