About Leonardo

My service stands out by the quality and delivery of content designed to meet the needs of students and help them along their academic endeavors. My goal is to aid students along their journey and give them a different perspective of learning. Always sharing my passion for teaching and helping young minds grow.

What I enjoy about the work I do is the end result. Students are always satisfied and happy with their acquired knowledge and I get to be a part of that.

Since I was a kid I always liked the idea of teaching and sharing knowledge. Growing up I saw how important knowledge can be and decided to take part and do just that. Best of all is to see students put forth all of their effort and dedication to make the process as smooth and effective as possibe.

The education and training that I have that relates to my work are the many years I worked with an after school program to help and sometimes tutor kids for the time being. Also, the effort and acquired knowledge I have with the countless science and language subjects I teach.

About the lesson

My typical process for working with a new student is to get to know their strenghts and weaknesses in order to assess what needs to be improved and worked at.

I have worked with students ranging from 3rd grade all the way to 8th grade; and for many occasions have worked with students in High School.

The advice I would give a student looking to hire a teacher in my area of expertise (Science and Spanish) is to always look for the teacher that shows passion and understanding of the subject and is able to deliver content to the student in a rational and comprehensive way.

A recent event that I am fond of is when many of the students I have worked with contacted to me to inform me how well they did with their classes and finals as I prepared them for. Seeing them succeed is what drives me to try harder and give them the best instruction possible.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
The questions that students should think through before talking to teachers about their needs are relative and there is no such question that is not good enough. Always remember that curiosity did not kill the cat, ignorance did.

I strongly believe in giving back to the community and if a student is willing to do their part and maintain good grades I have no problem in making certain adjustments. However, I do have a standard pricing system for my lessons in place for $10 to $50 per hour.
