About Ariajay
Hola! My name is Yajaira, and I've been teaching Spanish for over ten years.
I majored in Geography and minored in Spanish. I've taught English as a second language in Korea for two years. Recently, I also worked with the City of Dallas as an after-school mentor, where I taught basic Korean to elementary kids.
I like to work with my students and provide individualized lesson plans. Whether it is finding their learning style or working on focused vocabulary. Whether it is electricians, students, or doulas, they all agree they understand the way I teach. My teaching style mainly implements phonics, which is the foundation of every language.
