About Ashley
At Beginner Spanish Lessons, there is a focus on helping beginning Spanish learners achieve an intermediate level of speaking the Spanish language. As beginning Spanish learners are the ideal client, assignments are geared towards them that will help them dramatically increase their skills so that they can see immediate progress. I have been teaching beginning Spanish students at the college level for over a year and take pride in seeing them go from barely able to utter a word in Spanish, to having full dialogues with me. I have received a bachelor's and master's degree in Spanish, which I believe help me to better understand how to help beginning students learn the language.
I was a graduate teaching assisstant, but was in charge of my own classes.
I have taught a begining level Spanish class for over 1 year at the college level and have been asked to teach a few intermediate level classes on occasion.

I test out their Spanish skills by asking them a series of questions and seeing how they respond to them.
I have worked with students who have some high school experience with Spanish and those who have no prior experience speaking the language.
They should think about how often they are willing to study and what level of proficiency they want to achieve.

What specific goals do they have when it comes to using the language, how proficient do they want to become, do they only need to know a certain type of vocabulary or are they looking to converse on a wide range of topics.
