About John
I am a retired elementary school principal and bilingual teacher with over 25 years of experience working with students in all areas of the elementary curriculum. I especially enjoy helping students improve in math. As a teacher, I taught every grade in elementary school. As a principal, I led teachers and students to success in a variety of schools and specialized in schools with Spanish immersion programs.
In addition, I have experience tutoring adults who want to learn English or Spanish. I am fluently bilingual and am very familiar with the issues of language acquisition and tricky areas for learners in both languages.
I have a Bachelor's degree from the University of Texas and a Master's degree from the University of Houston.
