About Jillian
I am American with Mexican roots. I learned Spanish all my life as my second language from my Mexican friends who spoke Spanish better than English, I practiced with them and strengthened my pace and comprehension of Spanish spoken quickly. I know what it is to learn a new language and fumbling with your speed and accent can be tricky but with my experience I can bring you into English easily.
I have taught various subjects as an after school teacher and as a tutor for over a decade.
I took Spanish lessons in school so I can read and write Spanish and I have spent life with people who speak English as a second language who help me to practice my speech in Spanish. English is my first language.

I ask my student what is their experience with their new language. How confident do they feel in practicing out loud. Running through structured exercise and then following up with open ended lessons to fully work that new language in a natural setting like an open conversation to enhance their speed and accent on the fly.
