About Andrea
Hello! My name is Andrea, and I am a native Spanish speaker from Peru who has lived in the United States for over 20 years. I am passionate about education, faith, and helping students reach their full potential.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, a Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from Spain, a Master’s degree in Gifted and Special Education, and a Doctorate in Educational Sciences. I currently teach first-grade Special Education and have experience working with diverse learners, including students with special needs and gifted students.
My goal is to create engaging, supportive, and personalized lessons that help students build confidence and succeed in Spanish. Whether you are a beginner, need homework support, or want to improve your conversational skills, I am here to help.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, working out, grilling, spending time with my family, and being actively involved in my church community.
I look forward to helping you on your Spanish learning journey!
