About Avalon

I am passionate about learning foreign languages and would love the opportunity to teach others what I know. I have my Bachelor's Degree in Spanish from Hillsdale College and have three years of experience in Arabic. In the past, I have studied French as well. If you are interested in beginning your studies in either Spanish or Arabic, I can help. Learning a second language will change your life and your relationships!

I've tutored for many years starting when I was a teenager. In college, I helped my fellow Spanish students with Spanish and taught Arabic as the president of the Middle Eastern Club.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish and won two awards for language proficiency and culture. Furthermore, I have experience with the Arabic language and have spent time in Jordan and Israel.

About the lesson

First, we work together to assess what their level is. I firmly believe language learning comes more naturally when the student enjoys it. I will ask them questions about their passions and cater the lesson plans to their personal interests.

Ranging between 13 and 21.

I would advise the student to find a teacher who is passionate about the language and is willing to teach them the language in a personalized way. Language learning should be fun. Culture, history, language, people, politics, all of these subjects should be discussed openly and taught to provide the learner with a deeper understanding of the language.

A recent event I am fond of is my graduation from university!
