My primary role is coaching soccer. However, I also place a large emphasis on fitness be it in sport or in life.
I hold a Degree in Sports Science (essentially the best practices of how to get the best out on the body for a specific result).
I have always been physically active and like to help other complete their own fitness goals. I have played Soccer at a good level, ran many marathons, completed an Ironman (2.4 mile swim, 116 Cycle & 26.2 mile marathon) and my biggest accomplishment is running after a new born child.
I get to help youth players learn to respect, understand and love the game of soccer. Its the best career ever!
I stopped playing due to injury and still wanted to be part of the game. I would like the youth players to feel the same love, respect, success and understanding of the game as what I gained through playing.
USSF National C Licence

Every player is diffrent and have diffrent needs. the younger players we may just jump into footwork, passing and moving, Whilst older players that have experience of playing and have a desire for upward progression, we can implement more of a professional outlook and impalment a battery of fitness tests. This gives us a basic understanding of fitness levels and the direction we need to look at to get the best physiological adaption for that player.
Every player in the first few sessions are graded on various aspects of passing, shooting, Goalkeeping etc...
Typically we like to mix fitness & techincal skill on a (25%/75%) each session in order to cover both the physiological aspects as well as the technical aspects
I have worked with players that have went to Europe for trials, High school, College. EDP, Semi Pro

Perfect! Excellent coach!
Perfect! James was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He brings a serious passion for the game and worked well with my mentee (age 12.) He was easy to coordinate with and I had no problem making our initial arrangements. Would hire again.
