About Anton
My name is Anton Maroun and I am very passionate about the learning of music and more specifically with building up the most complicated and yet the most simple instrument there is. The Voice. I have been teaching for the last few years and I teach piano and voice at a music studio in Encinitas. I have perform all throughout San Diego County in professional Operas and musicals. My specialty is building up the muscle of the voice because it is a muscle that needs to be worked out. I can get your voice to produce a bigger sound using less effort to produce.
I love seeing the light on a students face when they have that "AHA" moment. It is such a joy! I am so passionate about what I do and love passing down the knowledge I have aquired from the years i've been performing professionally
I started teaching because a lot of my colleagues kept on asking me for advice for their voice and I freely helped out my friends and colleagues and after a few lessons it felt so good I had to keep doing it.
I have Trained In college and privately from some of the best in the Industry, My Vocal training comes from the training of Louis Lebherz, Top American Bass who has performed at Covent Garden and The Metropolitan Opera house literally hundreds of times.

The very first thing I do when I meet new students for the first time is find out why they want to sing, what singing means to them. once we know the "why" we then need to discuss where they want to go with the training. What do they want to accomplish
I have worked with college colleagues and kids ages 7-14
look for a teacher that understands who you are as a person as well as your voice. Find someone that is as passionate about your voice as much as you are.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
The first two question to ask yourself are "what do I want"? and "Why am I here"? Why are you taking lessons in the first place? Do you just want to get a little bit better so you can do Karaoke and not make a fool? Or do you want this to be your life? your teacher will need to know this about you in order to get to know what level you desire to achieve and construct a plan to take you to those heights.

Perfect! My daughter loves her voice lessons with Anton! He teaches with a lot of encouragement and patience, and my daughter has shown significant progress. Anton is very knowledgeable, talented, and has a passion to teach what he loves.
