About Danny

I tailor to the individual! I specialize in creating specific tactics that will improve your voice no mattew how inexperienced or experienced you may be.

COLLABORATION! This is a team effort, and there's no better feeling to me then finding the right answer together.

I got my start with teaching at the Coral Springs Center For The Arts in Coral Springs, FL where I'm originally from. I started as a student then I became a counselor in training, then a full time counselor, then I worked my way up to part time faculty, and finally full time faculty where I served as lead music, acting, and dance teacher.

I have a BFA in Musical Theatre from one of the best collegiate theatre programs in the country. My degree comes from the John J. Cali School of Music and the Department of Theatre and Dance at Montclair State University. At school I spent many years learning about music and the voice, and now I have all the tools needed to share my knowledge and train other students.

About the lesson

We start with assessment! Regardless of how much or how little experience you have we need to understand where your voice is at when you first arrive so that we can create a game plan for how and what we will be improving upon. A normal lesson with me consists of building fundamental technique with vocal warm ups, music theory and aural skills training, and range and repertoire expansion. After several months of lessons with me you will be able to call yourself an advanced singer.

I've worked with with children ranging in ages of 5-18, and adults that are far older. Some knew a lot about music others knew nothing, it is never too late to start learning or continuing your education.

You need a teacher who is going to collaborate with you, nobody sings the same way and everyone's voice is built different. Voice lessons are all about a teacher showing you several different ways to sing and you finding the one that works best for you and your voice. I suggest staying clear of teachers who claim "this is the only way to do it" or "it's my way or the highway."

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
No question is too dumb! Voice lessons are ALL about asking questions, no need to think just ask. Ask it all, ask as much as possible.

My lessons are $45 for 60 minutes or $35 for 45 minutes. These are the most affordable prices you'll find anywhere; coming from NYC where I spent the last four years voice lessons were well over $100 per hour.
