About Trish

I was blessed with a great education MANY years ago at both Berklee College of Music and the University of Memphis ... it was while in college that I started teaching piano.

I love teaching anything from the basics of piano to intermediate classical, jazz improv, reading chord charts and the like. I also love to help people accompany themselves as they sing (I am a singer/songwriter). AND I love helping students with theory and songwriting!!

Much ... I have an abundance of training in a variety of areas: arranging, composition, jazz piano, classical piano, jazz and traditional theory, film scoring, jingle writing, performing, and on and on.

I normally assess their skill level and aptitude, as well as assess their current knowledge of whatever they are asking to learn. I also try to get a feel for their musical interests and style.
