About Lindy

I teach Vocal Students how to enjoy their Performances so much, they forget about their anxieties. I am a Professional Vocalist and Vocal Instructor with experience Singing on Nashville's Music Row as well as winning Pageants and Talent Competitions. I have starred in endless Music Theater Productions and Shows, and Performed Internationally. My passion is giving a great vocal performance and teaching others to do the same.

I love the expression on a student's face when they finally "get it". When a student finally realizes they have the ability and talent to give the Performance they've always longed to give, I am overjoyed.

After I graduated from college I was offered teaching a job teaching Middle School Music. I wanted the job for the experience but it was only part time. Financially it was difficult. I loved teaching the students and several of them wanted to learn more, so I began giving voice and drama lessons after school.

Lindy has a Bachelor of Music in Voice and Music Industry, from Middle Tennesee State University. She has starred in endlesss Music Theater Productions. Won Pageants and Talent Competitions, Performed Lead Vocals in Pop and Christian Bands and Recorded Commercial Jingles. Her first love is Music Theater. She also has Classical Experience performing in Recitals and Classical Productions. Lindy has been a Voice, Acting and Piano Instructor for 20 years.

Lindy has experience in all genres of music.

About the lesson

New students are welcomed and asked to share their goals musically, followed by a discussion of their past knowledge and experience singing or playing piano. Music is selected for the student that includes both opportunities for learning technique and genre enjoyment.

Students are taught in a positive manner and encouraged to practice regularly. If the student encounters difficulties learning, they will find patience and understanding from their instructor.

Be sure you find an instructor who really listens to what your goals are. Also be sure you find an instructor you don't find intimidating. You want to feel comfortable with your instructions. Also be sure they teach the style you want to sing.

I had a student of Music Theater who wasn't very confident their talent would get them into the Theater program at their college. I believed they would make it. I saw them improve in every lesson. I loved the joyful expression on their face when they got accepted.
