About Riley
I'm a graduate of Drake University with a BFA in Musical Theatre and have been training in voice since I was 10.
I specialize in teaching children or any begginers who are interested in singing, specifically Musical Theatre, but I'm familar with a broad range of styles. There's nothing I enjoy more than singing with others and helping them learn!
I started teaching through my old voice teacher back in high school who would send me the younger students that she thought were too young for her. When I went to college I would sometimes teach my peers, but I've always had a passion for teaching those just starting out!
I have a BFA in Musical Theatre from Drake University.
I also went to Huntington Beach's Academy for the Performing Arts (APA) where I would help younger kids (1st-8th) in the summer with performing classes in voice, acting, and dance.

I start with getting to know their own unique style and what their strengths and weaknesses are through a series of warm ups and singing through songs they're familar with, and then I work from there to target what needs to be worked on and fine tune what they're already good at!
Voice teachers have always been very special people to me and they're all very different! No one voice teacher will work for every student, so it's important to know just what you or your child wants out of it!
