About Marcos

I have been professionally teaching Firearm Safety & Proficiency in the State of a Florida Since 2012. I am State Licensed in the State of Florida and also Nationally Certified as an NRA Law Enforcement and Private Security Instructor.

I leave an open door for all my students upon completion of the course. They know they can always call on me to help them or guide them when questions arrise. I do not provide legal advice but because of extensive training and experience I can usually point them In The right direction.

I started teaching officialy 2012.  As a child my father took the time to teach me the basics and as a result I saved my own mothers life after finding her staring down the barrel of a loaded gun as she tried to check to see if it was loaded or not.

I take the time to personally meet all of my students prior to starting the course.  It's important that we mutually feel comfortable with each other.

I want to make sure I can answer any questions or concerns they may have.

I really enjoy working with beginners.

I have trained former military and law enforcement personnel transitioning to the private sector.

Do your homework and take the time to meet and speak to your instructor.  Ask questions and make sure your choice feels right to you.

Covid has been quite a challenge for all and financially has affected all of us. I have not stopped teaching during Covid and do take all safety precautions to assure my safety and that of my students.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Owning a gun is a huge responsibility.

Owning a gun and carrying a gun with no formal or insufficient training is dangerous and a liability.

Do it right or don't do it at all.
