About Tahji
Focusing on the students learning style has always been important to me. No student learns like the next one and teachers do not always have time to work with students individually to help them learn the best ways that they can. That is where I come in to give your student the individualized help that they need to become the star student that they are meant to be.
Education has always run in my family so, I kind of just picked it up and choose my favorite part of it, Which would be working with students. I feel that working in the education system is important to show students that teachers and educators come from all over. Especially showing students that African-American women are coming up in the educational system.
I have worked as an Afterschool Educator for about 4 years. Working in Lodi, Lincoln, and Aspire Public Schools/District.

When working with a new student I like to see their point of view on school so, that I can work with them in a point of view that they understand. Next, we dive into classes and scheduling. Lastly, I like to speak to the parent to align any goals that they have for the student.
Students from Kindergarten to 8th grade.
Look for a teacher that meets your needs as a student and someone who can work with you no matter your learning style.
A recent evet that I was fond of is when a student was using the skills that were taught to her to help raise grades and lower stress levels.
