About Ryan
My background is in Philosophy. So my approach to tutoring in reading and writing goes beyond merely learning the rules of grammar and the definitions of words. In my teaching, I emphasize gaining and expressing ideas more clearly. Reading and writing allow us to understand and communicate complex thoughts and ideas.
As a philosopher, I value reading and writing because I believe they can help us to think more clearly and critically. These skills help make us better citizens and better people.
