About Sahaja

I specialize in early childhood preK-3rd Reading because I believe that a great start will set your child up for future success. However, my years of experience enables me to help the reluctant reader improve as well.

I will awaken your child's interest through music, storytelling, phonetic games and online daily practice. Book discussion will help with essential skills like comprehension. My goal is to create a lifelong reader.

I really enjoy introducing kids to the awesome world of books. Each story is an adventure and I truly love watching them take the journey. Let's get started now so your child can get ready for the new school year!

When my son was born I became extremely interested in education. As a result my son had a 5th grade reading level when he was tested independently at age 5. It was through working with him and achieving such great results that I developed my method.

I began my career as a singer and piano teacher. Since 1999 I have been the Director of an early childhood Performing arts and literacy school where I learned to combine music with education in a way that makes it easier for children to learn. Using this unique method, I have helped my students to achieve great results.

About the lesson

- Parents fill out a short questionnaire designed to help us get to know your child prior to the first session.
- During the first session I take time to make the student feel comfortable, get to know more about my new student and evaluate the students situation. This enables me to come up with an Individual Educational plan to address their needs.
- Monthly reports help parents understand their child's progress.

I have worked with a variety of students who have one thing in common - great parents who want their child to succeed.
