About Patti
I love seeing the little "lightbulbs" come on when a student 'gets it'! I have been tutoring elementary school learners off and on for almost 30 years in all subject areas. Helping children learn has always been at the top of my 'to do' list. I have a B.A. in Elementary Education and have experience working in special education and Title I.
Working with struggling students. A young boy in the summer after first grade able to read only pre-primer words who after 3 months was almost up to grade level and reading smoothly.
