About Kristie
I am a recently retired teacher with a BS Degree in Elementary Education. In my career, I taught students in grades K4-8th and spent many years homeschooling my 4 children. My specialty and love has always been teaching reading. I am fun, patient, and kind so students loved having me as their teacher. I also love learning and have kept up with the science and techniques to successfully teach struggling readers of all ages. I now do tutoring online so I can reach a wider audience. Tutoring is data driven and instruction is personalized based on initial and ongoing assessments.
